JOB DESCRIPTION: TELLER - Full-time

Accountable for representing the bank to the customer in a courteous, professional manner and for providing prompt, efficient, and accurate service in processing transactions. Requires a high level of interpersonal skill, and an ability to understand basic accounting principles. Cash handling experience preferred, but willingness to learn acceptable. Some Saturday morning hours required.

JOB DUTIES:

• Follow established procedures in accordance with bank policies.
• Accountable in representing the bank to our customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Requires a high level of interpersonal skills and ability to comprehend basic accounting principles.
• Enter transactions into computer system and issue customer receipts.
• Protect customer information and other sensitive data by maintaining confidentiality while adhering to the bank policy.
• End each day by accurately balancing assigned cash drawer.
• Available for work some Saturdays.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and ability to interact with clients using banking technology.
• Friendly and personable with the ability to establish credibility and rapport and look for ways to benefit the customer’s banking relationship.
• Understanding how to present features, and benefits of products and services to clients with differing needs.
• Professional, thorough and organized; able to follow standard operating policies and procedures.
