JOB DESCRIPTION: CONSUMER LENDER

The Consumer Lender position is responsible for servicing customer needs for installment and residential loans. The successful candidate will be accountable for soliciting new loan applications, analyzing financial related data, and determining the general merits of the specific loan request. In addition, they will provide the required disclosures while following compliance guidelines.

JOB DUTIES:

• Identify and meet with potential customers to discuss various loan products to help meet their needs.
• Guide applicants through the loan application process.
• Must have thorough knowledge of lending regulations and collateral requirements.
• Ability to define and execute a business development strategy to strengthen relationships and expand the referral network to attract new business.
• Ensure all loans are processed and closed in a timely, accurate, and quality manner to establish and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for performance of the loan portfolio.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of two years experience in bank lending.
• Ability to underwrite loan applications, interpret financial data, and establish payment plans.
• Must be able to prepare initial disclosures and compose business letters and memorandums.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service.
• NMLS loan originator license required.
