Business Checking Accounts


First New Mexico Bank, Las Cruces offers a complete line of business checking accounts that will make it easy for you to keep an eye on your business finances.

 

Business Lite:

  • $500 minimum daily balance required each monthly statement cycle to avoid $5.00 monthly service charge
  • An excess item charge of $0.30 plus tax for each debit/withdrawal in excess of 30 per statement cycle
  • Paper statement fee of $5.00 per month to receive paper statement

Business First:

  • $1,000 minimum daily balance required each monthly statement cycle to avoid $10.00 monthly service charge
  • An excess item charge of $0.10 plus tax for each debit/withdrawal in excess of 100 per statement cycle
  • Paper statement fee of $5.00 per month to receive paper statement

Business Plus:

  • Only sole proprietorship eligible to hold account
  • Minimum daily balance of $1,500 per month to earn interest*
  • $1,500 minimum daily balance required each monthly statement cycle to avoid $15.00 monthly service charge
  • An excess item charge of $0.15 plus tax for each debit/withdrawal in excess of 75 per statement cycle
  • Paper statement fee of $5.00 per month to receive paper statement

Business Money Market:

  • Minimum daily balance of $2,500 per month to earn interest
  • $2,500 minimum daily balance required each monthly statement cycle to avoid $15.00 monthly service charge
  • $15 each excessive item charge per debit/withdrawal over 6 per statement cycle
  • Earns a tiered interest rate:
    • $2,500-$24,999
    • $25,000-$99,999
    • $100,000 and over
  • No paper statement fee

Business Account Analysis:

The Business Account Analysis is designed for businesses with high transaction activity, where earnings credit can be given on deposit balances.

  • Monthly service fee is based on specific activity during a statement cycle. (For example: $0.10 per check paid and $0.05 per deposit.)
  • Monthly maintenance fee of $7.50
  • Earnings credit* on investable balance required for services

USA Patriot Act

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING OR CHANGING AN ACCOUNT WITH OUR FINANCIAL INSTITUTION

Section 326 of the USA PATRIOT ACT requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account or changes an existing account. This federal requirement applies to all new customers and current customers. This information is used to assist the United States government in the fight against the funding of terrorism and money-laundering activities.

What this means to you: when you open an account or change an existing account, we will ask each person for their name, physical address, mailing address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify them. We will ask to see each person’s driver’s license and other identifying documents and copy or record information from each of them.

Unlawful Internet Gambling Notice

Restricted transactions as defined in the Federal Reserve Regulation GG are prohibited from being processed through your account or relationship with our institution. Restricted transactions generally include, but are not limited to, those in which credit, electronic fund transfers, checks, or drafts are knowingly accepted by gambling businesses in connection with the participation by others in unlawful Internet gambling.
